Time to make something happen with StarCraft. Planning for the future (into SC2) this is my idea. We have Season Leagues all year round. First season? Summer! We can get a 3 week league in as a test run heading into fall.

Signups start . . RIGHT NOW. As long as we get 4 players we will go. Hopefully as the seasons continue we will keep gaining players!

Summer season will begin on Monday August 31. 3 weeks of play. Season ends on Friday September 18th. Following the season there will be a bracket tournament based on the standings on Sep 22nd (last day of summer)

Rules:
You cannot play more than 1 match v a player each week
You must follow the theme of that week
Save replays in case of contested results
Championship matches are 3/5

Match Rules:
All matches are best 2/3
If a choice needs to be made for that weeks theme, a random player chooses first. Other player chooses second. Follow that pattern.
Whoever wins the match wins 2 points
Whoever loses the match wins 1 point
No draws allowed.

Week Rules:
At the end of each week the top 3 players win points toward the season
1st: 3 points
2nd: 2 points
3rd: 1 point

Week 1: (8/31 - 9/5)
Theme: Mirror Match
Map: Heartbreak Ridge
Rules: Follow the rules for player choices. Whichever race is chosen each round, both players must play that race. Random is not an option. The race can change each round.

Week 2: (9/6 - 9/12)
Theme: Standard 1v1
Map: Final Destination
Rules: Standard play. Each player chooses their own race. You can change race between rounds.

Week 3: (9/13 - 9/18)
Theme: Opponents Choice
Map: Luna The Final
Rules: Your opponent chooses what race you play. Race can change between rounds. Opponent CAN choose random as an option.

We Need Leaders!!!

Torment gamers would love to start a new division based on this game. However, we need leadership! Here is information on game division leadership.

Game Division Lead - A Division Leader is a member of the community who is the acting GM, competitive team leader, etc. for a certain game. This member would have gone through the Founders to get approval to start a Gaming Division under Torment.

Within that game itself, all in-game operating decisions are made by the Division Leader. Any MAJOR decisions (such as a server or faction change) should be brought to the attention of the Founders. Otherwise it is that Division Leaders ship to run.

Game Division Co-lead - Very similar in role to a Division Leader the Co-Leader will assist the Leader in running the Game Division. This position is typically chosen by the Leader to help them in running the game. They have the same authority as a Division Lead and act as one in the Leads absence.
